Arnhemmer picked up for sale offering 12 billion passwords

The police have arrested a 22-year-old Arnhem citizen who is associated with the popular WeLeakInfo. The website sold subscriptions that allowed users to browse through billions of stolen login data.

The Arnhem citizen is suspected of offering 12 billion stolen passwords, reports the police. Professional equipment was found in the suspect’s home, which made it possible to provide the services offered via WeLeakInfo.

In addition to the Arnhemmer, a 22-year-old man from Northern Ireland was arrested.

WeLeakInfo now shows a notification that the domain name of WeLeakInfo.com has been seized. The website sold subscriptions that allowed you to view hacked account information, such as e-mail addresses and passwords. The subscriptions started at a price of 2 dollars, according to the FBI in their press statement.
