Corendon will not fly to Turkey until at least August 12. The tour operator checks whether holidays to Turkey can be organized again every week, the company reports. That will not be until the travel advice has been changed from “orange” to “yellow”.

Initially, Corendon would already start holidays to Turkey on July 10. Prime Minister Rutte called it “unwise and irresponsible.” The “orange” travel advice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs means that holiday trips are not recommended. Due to the corona outbreak, the vast majority of the world map is currently coloured orange.

Corendon held talks with the government earlier this month about the situation, including Minister Cora van Nieuwenhuizen (Infrastructure and Water Management). The travel organization says that it is still in consultation with the government.
