KPN is testing a new service that allows users to send large files encrypted for free. The KPN Secure File Transfer service is comparable to the WeTransfer service.
The KPN service allows users to send files of up to 4 GB to someone else. That is 2 GB more per use than the well-known service WeTransfer, with which large files can be shared for free via the internet.
The KPN file sharing service allows users to set how long the data can be downloaded. The files can then be shared with someone else via a link or QR code.
KPN informs resources that Secure File Transfer is “emphatically” a test version that “is not currently designed for large-scale use”.
