The new legal team of Britney Spears (39) is attacking to fire the singer’s father as curator as soon as possible. Lawyer Mathew Rosengart (58) announced this to American media on Monday after a session at the court in Los Angeles.
Mathew gave a short speech thanking Spears “for her courage and her strength,” the judge for her cooperation and the singer’s fans for their #FreeBritney campaign. He concluded by saying: ‘Finally, I would like to say that, as I also stated in court last week, my office and I will be fighting and vigorously petitioning for Jamie Spears to be fired unless he resigns sooner. ‘
Britney first spoke out last month about the thirteen-year receivership that started when she was admitted to a psychiatric institution in 2008. Last week, she asked the judge for permission to choose her lawyer instead of the court-assigned counsel who has assisted her in recent years. She also repeated the request to be allowed to fire her father, Jamie as her supervisor.
