A German who was infected with the coronavirus was still in the province of Limburg a week ago. The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) reported last night that the virus was diagnosed in men.
The GGD has started a contact investigation. This involves checking with whom the man in Limburg has been in contact, and the health of those people is tested. If they get complaints, they will be isolated and tested, says RIVM, which did not disclose where exactly the man was staying in Limburg.
RIVM spokesman Ron Beekman says that the GGD Limburg Noord has worked all night to find out where the man has been. “Now nothing is known about that.”
